Union Switch & Signal appoints White to head automation, information systems

Union Switch & Signal Inc. (US&S) recently named Russ White vice president, automation and information systems.
He will be responsible for the company’s transit and railroad control systems’ business software and products, as well as project execution, product development and growth initiatives.
"[Russ] will be instrumental in bringing the company’s new supervisory control products to the market, while focusing on ways to make our systems even more modular and scalable," said US&S President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Burk in a prepared statement.
White joined US&S as project manager in July 2002. Prior to that, he held several executive-level positions at various software development companies.
