Siemens Transportation Systems Inc. recently named Mark Evans vice president and chief financial officer to succeed Lothar Zagel, who will assume a new position at Siemens' Germany headquarters.
Evans most recently served as senior director of business administration. He joined Siemens Energy and Automation in 1989, serving as business-unit controller. He transitioned to Siemens Transportation in 1991, serving as director of project administration, regional marketing director and senior director of business-improvement programs before his most recent position.
"Mark's extensive background in business development, financial controlling and large turnkey systems projects have uniquely prepared him for this position," said Siemens Transportation President and Chief Executive Officer Oliver Hauck in a prepared statement.
