Redeker to oversee Connecticut DOT's public transit bureau

The Connecticut Department of Transportation recently appointed James Redeker to lead the agency's Bureau of Public Transportation, which oversees and coordinates the operation of MTA Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line, as well as Shore Line East commuter-rail service and statewide bus service.

Redeker, who has served New Jersey Transit since its formation 30 years ago, most recently was the agency's vice president of technology services.
