RailPros has hired Eric Sifferlen as senior vice president of corporate development. Sifferlen will work with the leadership team on strategic acquisitions across North America, RailPros officials said in a press release. He has more than two decades of experience in mergers and acquisitions and has overseen more than 20 successful multimillion dollar transactions. His experience includes navigating complex deals in both private equity and public companies in a range of industries, RailPros officials said. Sifferlen will be based out of RailPros' Texas headquarters. “The rail industry continues to play a vital role in North America’s infrastructure,” said Sifferlen. “I look forward to working with the RailPros executive team and partnering with complementary companies within the railroad ecosystem by combining our respective capabilities and resources to better serve customers, drive shared value and deliver improved outcomes.”

Voith Turbo has brought in Michal Kalita to serve as vice president of sales for the North American industry division, the company announced in a press release. Kalita has more than 20 years of experience in the rotating machinery industry. Prior to joining Voith, he served as global service director for Ebara Elliott Energy and held various commercial and operational leadership roles at Sulzer. Kalita will be based at Voith's Houston location, where the team provides original equipment manufacturing services including repairs, retrofitting and overhaul services for Voith products and non-Voith products.
