Pacer International promotes Strutz to chief commercial officer of logistics arm

Pacer International Inc. recently promoted Randy Strutz to chief commercial officer of Pacer Global Logistics.

Reporting to Pacer International President and Chief Executive Officer Alex Munn, Strutz will be responsible for sales and marketing for Pacer Global’s third-party logistics services, including intermodal marketing, trucking, international freight forwarding and supply-chain management. He also will retain his duties as president of the company’s rail brokerage unit.

Prior to joining Pacer International in 2001, Strutz served Thomson Consumer Electronics Inc. for 13 years in various finance, logistics, transportation and plant management positions.
