Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) recently appointed Keith Hawksworth chief executive officer to succeed Thomas O’Neill, who will continue to serve as chairman. The appointment is effective Jan. 1, 2008.
Hawksworth has served PB for more than 30 years, most recently as chief operating officer of the firm’s 6,000-person International Operations division. Prior to that, he held various project development, project management and business operations positions.
“Our strategy for growth and improved returns now makes it sensible to separate the roles of CEO and chairman,” said O’Neill in a prepared statement.
