Midland Manufacturing Co. recently named Larry Gorman vice president of engineering, responsible for developing the supplier's valve and measuring-device products, and overseeing the company's new-product development and sustaining engineering departments.
Gorman previously served in various executive engineering and product director positions for McCanna Corp., Worcester Controls and Conbraco's Industrial Vale Group.
Skokie, Ill.-based Midland markets top and bottom transfer and pressure-relief valves, and level measurement devices for railroad tank cars, containers and barges.
