HDR's Keller takes reins as ARDA's new president

The American Railway Development Association (ARDA) recently elected Kevin Keller president for 2011-2012. He is BNSF Railway client manager and rail environmental program manager for HDR Inc.

As president, Keller will be responsible for the association’s financial, technical and management functions, including the planning of ARDA's annual meeting and annual executive forum. ARDA aims to address the industrial, real estate, natural resources, market development activities and environmental concerns of North American railroads, and promote the effectiveness of railway development and related work.

Keller currently is vice president of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association's Engineering Services Functional Group and previously chaired the association’s Committee 13, which governs environmental issues. He has more than 25 years of experience in management, environmental and engineering, and has served federal, state and commercial clients throughout North America, including all North American Class Is.
