HDR has named Erin Hunt as the company's next president and chief operating officer; she will assume the role in January 2027 following the retirement of Neil Graff.

In her new role, Hunt will oversee daily global operations of employee-owned architecture, engineering and construction firm. She has held various leadership positions at HDR, from project manager to operations manager for Florida, Alabama and Mississippi. Most recently, Hunt served as president of the firm's water practice. She also serves on HDR's board, company officials said in a press release.

"Erin's leadership has made an incredible impact in every position she's stepped into, and her deep understanding of our business, commitment to our people and proven ability to deliver results make her the ideal choice to serve as president and COO," said Chair and CEO John Henderson.

Graff has been president and COO since 2024. He steps down after 35 years with the firm, having previously served as a regional operations director before overseeing U.S. operations and then North American operations.
