Cathcart Rail names Driggers CEO

Cathcart Rail today announced Scott Driggers has been named the company's CEO to succeed Jeff Chick.

Driggers joined Cathcart Rail in June as chief operating officer. His career spans key leadership roles across maintenance, fleet management and component manufacturing and reconditioning at A. Stucki, as well as prior CEO positions at Appalachian Railcar Services and Cathcart Rail, company officials said in a press release.

"Scott’s broad industry knowledge and visionary leadership make him uniquely qualified to lead Cathcart Rail into its next phase of growth. His commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction aligns perfectly with our mission and values," Cathcart Rail's board members said in the release.

The board also expressed appreciation to Chick "for his steady guidance and valuable contributions during a period of significant change and extends its best wishes as he moves on," according to the press release.

Driggers promotion comes as the company soon will unveil a new brand identity, company officials said.
