She has served as the commission's interim head since October 2014.
As interim leader, Moore has demonstrated “tremendous leadership, dedication and hard work,” said ONTC Chairman Tom Laughren in a press release.
“Securing her in this role will ensure the organization remains on course with its transformation,” he said.
In 2005, Moore joined ONTC as director of telecommunications. She was later named chief operating officer and vice president of the commission's refurbishment division, where she directed several external re-manufacturing contracts, led labor negotiations with the commission's five union groups, and modernized operating processes, ONTC officials said.
Prior to her career with the ONTC, Moore worked in both the public and private sectors.
