Clough re-elected to GCRTA board post

Dennis Clough, mayor of Westlake, Ohio, has been re-elected to a new three-year term on the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority’s (GCRTA) board.

Clough’s term will run from March 2012 through March 2015. He was re-elected to the post by the mayors and managers of Cuyahoga County, GCRTA officials said in a prepared statement.

Three board members are elected by the county’s mayors and managers. Currently serving with Clough are Euclid Mayor Bill Cervenik and Brook Park Mayor Mark Elliott.

The remaining board members are selected through a nomination and confirmation process by the city of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County.
