Mastrean to manage CSX's compensation, benefits

CSX Corp. has appointed Michele Mastrean vice president of compensation and benefits. She will report to Senior VP of Human Resources and Labor Relations Bob Haulter.

Mastrean most recently was VP-HR total compensation for Halliburton Co. She will direct the delivery of broad-based compensation programs, as well as health, retirement and savings benefits, CSX said.
