Wilcock to chair Transportation Research Board's commuter-rail committee

The Transportation Research Board (TRB) recently appointed David Wilcock chairman of its Commuter Rail Transportation Committee. His three-year term begins April 15.

With more than 24 years’ experience in the transportation field, Wilcock currently serves as manager of planning and operations for engineering and consulting firm Vanasse Hangen Brustlin’s Transit & Rail Services Group.

He has been an active member in the TRB — which is a division of the National Research Council — for more than nine years, serving on the commuter-rail committee for the past three years and as secretary of the Self-Powered Rail Car Technology Subcommittee the past nine years.
