advertisement
Last week, Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority (WMATA) unveiled its redesigned Web site, which now features a new home page, page design and color scheme.
The authority redesigned the site to add more applications and improve navigation. The site features fare information, maps, schedules, service alerts, SmarTrip information, trip planning services and updated news.
During the past two years, WMATA’s Web site usage has more than doubled. In September, the authority recorded more than 4.5 million page views compared with 3.5 million and 2.2 million in September 2003 and September 2002, respectively.
