TransLink to solicit public input on North Shore Transit Plan

Starting today, TransLink officials will be asking for the public’s feedback on 13 infrastructure projects proposed for the next 10 years through the North Shore Area Transit Plan.
The public consultation will take place online and in community meetings to be held in the area through June 9, TransLink officials said in a prepared statement.
Suggestions for projects not included in the draft list of 13 also will be accepted and considered, “so long as they are aligned with the vision and are within the scope of the plan,” which agency stakeholders, elected officials and the general public developed for the transit network through 2040, they said.
Potential projects that fit the “vision” were previously identified, and a system of evaluating and prioritizing projects was determined. The 13 projects are considered “high priorities” for the next 10 years, according to TransLink.
