Toronto Transit adds management system to Scarborough Line

Toronto Transit Commission July 29 put Alcatel Transport Automation’s SelNet System Management Control (SMC) into revenue service on the Commission’s Scarborough Rapid Transit line, which operates with Alcatel’s moving-block communications-based train control system.
SMC, part of Alcatel’s NetTrac product line, has been redesigned to provide more functionality, flexibility and ease-of-use.
