San Diego Trolley to adjust fares

San Diego Trolley Inc. officials recently proposed a fare adjustment to cover increasing costs.
The Adult Regular pass would increase from $54 to $56, the senior/disabled pass price from $13.50 to $14, and the youth pass price from $26 to $28. The College Semester pass would rise 8 percent.
Most adult cash fares would increase between 25 cents and $1, while most cash fares for senior citizens and disabled passengers would remain the same.
If Metropolitan Transit Development Board approves the adjustments, new fares would go into effect July 1.
