Reader may ease smart card migration

Israel-based On Track Innovations (OTI) March 19 launched its Saturn Reader, designed to accept multiple ISO contact and contactless smart cards, in response to customers who wanted to use multiple applications or migrate from contact cards to contactless ones.
For example, if an agency were using contact cards, it could exchange current readers for Saturn readers; existing cards still could be used while contactless cards infiltrated its passenger base.
