advertisement
The Regional Transportation District (RTD) of Denver has narrowed the field of general manager candidates to three. The agency recently named Sean Donohue, Douglas Kelsey and Phillip Washington as finalists to succeed Cal Marsella, who resigned as GM July 31.
Donohue retired from United Airlines last year after leading the airline’s global operations as senior vice president of flight operations. Lately, he has been working on several private equity ventures.
Kelsey is president and chief executive officer of the British Columbia Rapid Transit Co., and previously held management positions at Shell Oil and Starbucks. Washington is RTD’s interim GM and CEO, and previously served the agency as assistant general manager for administration.
The finalists will be interviewed by RTD’s board and a recently formed Civic Leaders Panel. The board expects to appoint a GM by year’s end.
