The Regional Transportation District (RTD) of Denver continues to seek a new general manager to succeed Cal Marsella, who left the agency July 31 after serving in the top post for 14 years.
RTD recently formed a six-member panel to interview finalists for the position, and advise the agency’s board and executive search committee during the selection process.
The panelists are former University of Colorado President John Buechner; Jefferson Economic Council President and Chief Executive Officer Preston Gibson; Kaiser Foundation Health Plan-Colorado Region President Donna Lynne; Lakewood, Colo., Mayor Bob Murphy; Greenwood Village, Colo., Mayor Nancy Sharpe; and Colorado Senior Policy Analyst for Transportation Carla Romero Perez.
RTD expects to name finalists for the position later this month.
