The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) this week published its $15.7 billion 2026-2030 capital plan, which calls for improvements to the state's CTrail passenger-rail network and investments in other transportation infrastructure.
"With this plan, we’re rebuilding roads and bridges, modernizing public transportation, and making it easier and safer to travel in Connecticut," said Connecticut Department of Transportation Commissioner Garrett Eucalitto in a press release. "These long-term investments will improve safety, better connect our towns and cities, and help our state economy thrive."
CTDOT anticipates spending $3.78 billion in federal and state capital funding for all transportation modes in fiscal-year 2026.
