Chile Metro contracts with CashCode

Chile’s Metro Transport System selected Toronto-based CashCode Co. Inc. to equip an automated ticketing system with CashCode bill validators.
The ticketing system is designed to enable riders to receive cash back from purchases via coin-changers.
"Our agreement with Metro Chile … shows how our product is a perfect fit for convergent needs in this industry," CashCode Marketing Manager Susanne Borschel said in a prepared statement. "There is tremendous potential for this system as an industry standard."
CashCode plans to consider wider-system application throughout 2000, and industry-wide application viability over the next few years.
