On Monday, Caltrain closed a San Jose grade crossing at Lenzen Avenue to accommodate a new maintenance and operations facility.
As part of the project, the agency plans to relocate mainline tracks.
Only a handful of trucks traveling to a food distribution company used the crossing. Caltrain officials are working with the company to determine an alternate route.
