CTA awards asset-management program contract
advertisement
Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) recently awarded a $5.5 million contract to MAXIMUS to manage operations and maintenance activity for CTA’s fleet and other assets.
MAXIMUS FASuite-FleetFocus™ and Rail Focus™ software programs enable organizations to streamline operations, control expenses and lower total asset-ownership costs, according to a prepared statement.
CTA plans to integrate FASuite with its Oracle® Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program.
"The MAXIMUS system will allow us to improve our bus and rail-car availability, thereby improving overall service to our customers," said John Flynn, CTA vice president for technology management. "[The integration] will enable better decision making, and reduce information redundancy and re-keying of information."
