Alcatel completes axle counter system installation for Norwegian State Railway

Alcatel Transport Automation Solutions recently installed the first 6315 FieldTrac Microprocessor-based Multiple Section Axle Counter System for Norwegian State Railway between Oslo and Kolboten.
The 6315 FieldTrac is designed to simultaneously evaluate and monitor up to 32 detection points and 32 track sections.
FieldTrac uses specialized hardware along tracks to ensure the safe movement of trains, visually indicating, detecting and monitoring track occupancy, and securing routes with safe point machines.
