Metra is seeking rider input as it chooses the next topics for its courtesy campaign.Known as "Ride Nice," the campaign is aimed at addressing common complaints that riders have with other customers. Released in July 2016, the first round of campaign posters addressed hogging seats, blocking aisles, talking too loudly, putting feet on seats and excessive "personal grooming," Metra officials said in a press release. To extend the campaign this year, Metra is asking passengers to vote on the topic they want addressed next. Riders can choose from a list of suggestions or write in their own."The first posters were humorous and gentle reminders that we’re all sharing the same space and should be ever-mindful of courtesy," said Metra Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Don Orseno. "We'll adopt the same tone for the next posters. We are simply trying to use this modest campaign to get our customers to think about how their behavior impacts others."The Ride Nice campaign was created in-house; the only expense was printing the posters, according to Metra.
