The Regional Transportation District of Denver (RTD) has scheduled a series of meetings to gather public input on several service changes coming in 2016.Slated to begin Sept. 21 and continue until Oct. 1, the meetings will provide additional information on various service changes, some of which will result from the opening of the A and R rail lines. All service modifications can be viewed on RTD's website.To open in spring 2016, the 22.8-mile A line will run between Denver's Union Station and the Denver International Airport, with connections adjacent to employment centers, neighborhoods, and other developments in Denver and Aurora, Colo. The line will serve a total of eight stations.To open in winter 2016, the 10.5-mile R line light-rail extension will provide service through Aurora and Denver, and will link to the A line with stops serving several major activity centers such as Aurora City Center and the Anschutz/Fitzsimons Medical Campus.
