Tomorrow at 1 p.m. (EST), Progressive Railroading will host a free webcast on the Indiana Rail Road Co.’s (INRD) ambitious and record-setting maintenance-of-way (MOW) program for 2011.
“Maximum MOW: Indiana Rail Road’s Record Year of Spending” will feature a presentation by INRD President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Hoback on the regional’s nearly $21 million MOW program. The regional has combined the first two years of an all-time-high five-year capital plan in an accelerated 2011 program.
Moderated by Managing Editor Jeff Stagl and sponsored by Progressive Railroading’s Maintenance of Way Spending Report 2011, the webcast will provide details on rail replacement projects designed to bolster infrastructure for increased unit coal train traffic; tie replacements; key bridge projects; and a new locomotive maintenance facility in Jasonville, Ind.
