Rail News: Maintenance Of Way
L.B. Foster Co. recently obtained a $5.9 million contract to provide rail, special trackwork, direct fixation fasteners, insulated rail joints and other track accessories for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s six-mile Metro Gold Line Eastside extension.
Scheduled to open in 2009, the $898.8 million, eight-station Eastside extension will run from Union Station to East Los Angeles.
