Railpower Technologies Corp. recently appointed Jose Mathieu president and chief executive officer.

“Jose brings engineering, operations, manufacturing and product service experience to Railpower as the company moves into full scale production of its yard and road switcher locomotives,” said outgoing President and CEO Jim Maier, who’ll continue to serve on RailPower’s board, in a prepared statement.
RailPower produces the hybrid Green Goat® and Green Kid® locomotives at plants in Calgary, Alberta; Boise, Idaho; and Longview, Texas.
