GATX Corp. recently named Alan Coe managing director of GATX Rail. He most recently served as president of GATX Air.
Since joining GATX Corp. in 1977, Coe has held various positions, including manager of GATX Capital’s rail group.
“[Coe] will help GATX Rail accelerate the growth of our North American rail business,” said James Earl, GATX executive vice president-rail, in a prepared statement.
GATX Rail leases locomotives and rail cars to North American Class Is, regionals and short lines. The company manages a fleet of more than 152,000 cars.
