Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen members on June 26 ratified a new five-year agreement with the Terminal Railway-Alabama State Docks (TRASD).

BLET represents 14 TRASD employees, 10 of whom voted to approve the contract. Two voted against the agreement and two did not vote, according to a BLET press release. The contract provides retroactive pay dating to 2023 and general wage increases through 2027.

The TRASD provides access to BNSF Railway Co., CN, CSX, Canadian Pacific Kansas City and Norfolk Southern Railway. The short line operates on 75 miles of track at the Port of Mobile and is a subsidiary of the Alabama State Port Authority.
