The University of Denver's Intermodal Transportation Institute (ITI) recently held a residency week event to welcome new class members for the Executive Masters Program, which awards graduates a Master of Science degree in intermodal transportation management.
The class includes transportation professionals from previously represented firms, including CSX Intermodal, the Hub Group Inc., JB Hunt Transportation Inc. and TTX Co. Several students also hail from first-time participating organizations, such as BNSF Railway Co., Norfolk Southern Corp., Maersk Inc. and the U.S. Department of Defense. Some class members come from as far away as Alaska, Australia and Rotterdam.
The six-quarter masters program provides students an intermodal perspective on the freight and passenger transportation networks, and covers policies, ethics, and safety and security strategies within the sector.
