J.L. Patterson to conduct design work for Oregon DOT's HSR project

Transportation engineering firm J.L. Patterson & Associates Inc. recently announced it will provide engineering design management, track design and structures design services for the Oregon Department of Transportation’s high-speed intercity passenger-rail project.
The department is conducting environmental work and preliminary engineering for improvements between Portland and Eugene that will help the agency increase train trips, on-time performance and operating speeds. The project is being funded with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act dollars.
J.L. Patterson will serve as a sub-consultant to David Evans and Associates Inc., a sustainable design and management solutions firm.
