CHSRA's van Ark offers update on California's high-speed project

Roelof van Ark was named chief executive officer of the California High-Speed Rail Authority on June 1. He previously served as president of Alstom Transportation for the past five years. Prior to that, van Ark was president of aviation security for Invision Technologies Inc. He also spent more than 20 years as an executive, managing director, general manager, senior technical manager and senior project engineer for Siemens Transportation Inc.
