CSXT opens Louisville intermodal terminal

Yesterday, CSX Transportation began operating a new intermodal terminal in Louisville, Ky. The facility will offer international service to and from East Coast ports — including those in Charleston, S.C., New York and New Jersey, Portsmouth, Va., and Savannah, Ga. — as well as major West Coast ports.



CSXT Intermodal began providing service for both inbound and outbound freight on Jan. 2. CSXT will list the facility’s international schedules on its ShipCSX.com web site.
