CSX has launched a copilot chatbot feature on the real estate section of its website to assist customers with inquiries related to utility permits.
Named Chessie, the artificial intelligence-powered solution is designed to provide immediate responses to common questions posed by utility customers. CSX's real estate team processes 3,000 utility permit requests annually, according to a company press release.
The future development of Chessie will be guided by customer feedback. Depending on user needs and experiences, CSX might expand Chessie’s functionality across its entire website, company officials said.
