CSX TDSI earns top honors at damage prevention conference

CSX Total Distribution Services Inc. (TDSI) earned four awards for quality excellence from the Association of American Railroads (AAR) at the 132nd Damage Prevention and Freight Claims Conference held earlier this month in Atlanta.
A subsidiary of CSX, TDSI specializes in automotive vehicle-handling services through a network of automobile-distribution facilities, storage locations and facilities, providing service to eastern, Gulf and southeastern ports.
CSX TDSI became the first railroad to earn four top honors in a single year at the conference, and also set a record with three terminals receiving Destination Automotive Quality Excellence awards, CSX officials said in a press release. Those three terminals achieved outstanding audit scores of 99.96% or higher.
TDSI's 2025 Destination Automotive Quality Excellence award winners are New Boston Terminal, Detroit; Cementdale Terminal, Cincinnati; and Tampa Terminal, Florida. Also, TDSI's Strawberry Terminal in Louisville, Kentucky, earned the Origin Quality Excellence award, CSX officials said.
The AAR awards distinguish CSX TDSI as a leader in automotive logistics, they added.
