Chrysler Group honors UP's service performance

Chrysler Group L.L.C. recently recognized Union Pacific Railroad for “outstanding” logistics and transportation service performance as part of its 2011 supplier awards, according to the Class I.
Chrysler evaluated suppliers’ performance in such areas as quality, delivery, cost, warranty and partnership.
The award honors the railroad’s commitment to service, dedicated team effort and focus on “delivering value,” said Linda Brandl, UP’s vice president and general manager-automotive, in a prepared statement.
UP also recently received recognition for its performance from shippers Heinz North America, ConAgra Mills and WWL Vehicle Services Americas.
