CPKC releases some combined historical data, begins reporting consolidated weekly data
Canadian Pacific Kansas City today released select combined historical financial information for the year ended Dec. 31, 2022, and first-quarter 2023 that reflect CPKC results as if the merger between Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern had occurred Jan. 1, 2022.
The information was reported in an 8-K form with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and applicable securities commissions and regulators in Canada, CPKC officials said in a press release.
In addition, CPKC released certain combined historical data on operating metrics and revenue performance on the company’s investor website. As of today, CPKC will report its weekly key metrics on a consolidated basis, company officials said.
The Surface Transportation Board approved the CP-KCS merger on March 15; the combination took effect April 14.
