On Aug. 2, G3 Canada Ltd. marked the opening of its new grain elevator in Rycroft, Alberta.

The facility has a capacity of 42,000 metric tons, high-capacity grain receiving capabilities so a Super-B truck can be loaded in less than five minutes. The elevator also features a loop track for loading a 150-car train in a matter of hours, according to a news release.

“We’re excited to part of the community, and eager to earn the business of farmers in the Rycroft area and beyond with our commitment to great customer service,” said G3 Vice President of Operations Don MacDonald.

FWS Group began construction of the Rycroft facility in late 2021. The elevator is located on CN's network.
