CN is expanding its transloading network through collaborations with members of its Top-Tier Transload Partner Program.
The program recognizes third-party transloaders who move significant carload volumes — 500 or more units annually — and meet safety and service standards. These top-tier partners are crucial for expanding rail use across the railroad's network, CN officials said in a post on cn.ca.
As Top-Tier partners, transloaders benefit from increased visibility across CN marketing and customer channels; access to the CN Top-Tier badge for promotional use; a dedicated CN account manager; and eligibility for the Class I's Top-Tier Partner Awards Program.
An example of a CN and top-tier partnership is the ongoing collaboration with Canadian Rail Equipment Works and Services (CREWS) at the company's Johnstown Ontario location. Through joint sales efforts and coordination on business opportunities, CN and CREWS have grown carload volumes at the location year over year, CN officials said.
