Ohio utilities commission OKs crossing work

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio recently approved construction authorization from the Ohio Rail Development Commission directing the Chicago, Fort Wayne & Eastern Railroad to upgrade a grade crossing in Hardin County.
The railroad will install mast-mounted flashing lights and roadway gates at the County Line Road/County Road 15 crossing.
Work must be completed by Dec. 20. Federal dollars will cover the project's cost.
