Updates from American Wera and Hatch Mott MacDonald


• American Wera Inc. obtained a contract from MAE Götzen GmbH of Erkrath, Germany, to represent the MAE line of straightening, wheel set and hydraulic presses in the North American market. For MAE, American Wera will supply equipment, application engineering, onsite commissioning, training and all after-sale services.  The company’s existing network of sales representatives will handle this new line, under the direction of Product Manager for MAE Joseph Kemple, American Wera officials said in a prepared statement.

• Hatch Mott MacDonald has announced the appointment of several senior-level staff members for its Canadian offices: Eric Monrad, senior project manager, ports and harbors; Crystal Cole, senior project manager; Jeff Grubert, senior project manager; Andy Isner, principal project manager; Hugh Kent, principal project manager; Douglas Lyons, senior specialist in health and safety; Rajan Sawhney, senior project manager for water and wastewater projects; Jack Thompson, senior manager/transportation planner; Steven Frizell, senior project manager; and Michael Spencer, principal project manager/office manager. In addition, Kelsey Green will help to expand water and wastewater services provided by the firm in Nova Scotia.
