• Cubic Corp.’s board has elected James Edwards as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. He previously served as senior VP, general counsel and secretary of the company’s transportation group, and assistant general counsel and assistant secretary. Edwards succeeds William Hoese, who retired.
• Salco Products has promoted William Borowski to manager of product development. He will be responsible for all product development and day-to-day management for rail, truck, container and transportation-related product lines. Also, David Hammond has been promoted to manager of chemical and process applications. He will responsible for all aspects of the project work for chemical, plant, process and liquid transloading-related opportunities.
• The Wood Energy Group Inc., a division of Banyan Rail Services Inc., has named Natalie Ann Macey vice president of sales and marketing. She has more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the rail tie reclamation and disposal business. Macey most recently was VP of sales and shipping for Superior Railroad. She also previously served as VP of sales for Tampa Crosstie.
• PowerRail Distribution Inc. appointed Penny Fletcher sales manager of the southwest territory. She will be responsible for expanding customer sales and service, providing product support and expanding PowerRail’s full service program to current and future customers. Fletcher has more than 12 years of experience in the rail industry, and previously served as assistant operations manager and southern sales account manager.
