Rail Safe Training Inc. offers railroad operations and safety training designed to help industries identify and correct at-risk behavior and conditions. Rail Safe's team of experienced railroad operations and maintenance workers travel North America to deliver the program in a hands-on classroom setting. The firm's courses also are available online as computer-based training.
Data indicates that over 20 percent of Class I incidents occur within the premises of private industries they serve, according to Rail Safe. These industries can help reduce this disproportionate number by implementing proper operating methods and track inspections.
Rail Safe has obtained certification from the National Academy of Rail Sciences enabling the firm to deliver industrial rail operations training to BNSF Railway Co. customers.
