NCTD’s PTC system will be fully integrated with other PTC systems to be installed on adjacent rail lines operated by Metrolink, BNSF Railway Co., Amtrak and Pacific Sun Railroad to ensure the systems are interoperable, according to a press release.
COASTER commuter-rail trains operate along a north-south corridor in California between Oceanside and downtown San Diego, serving eight stations.
