VIA Rail adds Ferrante, MacInnis to board

Canadian Transport Minister Jean Lapierre recently appointed Angela Ferrante and Margaret MacInnis to the VIA Rail Canada Inc. board.
Ferrante currently serves as chief executive officer of the Ontario Energy Board. She previously held stints as vice president of public affairs for Ontario Power Generation Inc. and senior vice president of corporate communications for BMO Financial Group.
Owner of her own consulting firm, MacInnis previously was appointed the first deputy minister of the Office of Aboriginal Affairs with the Nova Scotia government.
