The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) has named Lucille Marvin vice president for government affairs, a newly created position. Marvin will serve as IANA's representative on Capitol Hill, IANA officials said in a press release. Prior to joining IANA, Marvin was the managing director of the Federal Maritime Commission, where she also served as legislative counsel for two chairmen and one commissioner. Prior to those roles, Marvin was director of the Surface Transportation Board's Office of Public Assistance, Governmental Affairs and Compliance.

The New York & Atlantic Railway (NYA) recently invited newly elected Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) General Chairman Gilman Lang to attend the railroad's annual safety meeting, which emphasized the importance of strong labor-management collaboration, NYA officials said in a press release. "Our relationship with BLET is essential not only to the success of NYA, but also to keeping the region’s supply chains safe and efficient. Chairman Lang’s direct involvement shows how our joint commitment to safety strengthens both the workforce and the communities we serve," said NYA President Marlon Taylor. NYA is owned by Anacostia Rail Holdings.

North County Transit District-San Diego Railroad (NCTD) has promoted Jeffery Wymer to director of information technology. Wymer now oversees the transit agency's IT infrastructure and operations. He has served NCTD for three years, first as a senior systems engineer and most recently as cybersecurity manager. Wymer was instrumental in the agency's procurement of dedicated cybersecurity insurance, NCTD officials said in a press release. "I’m incredibly excited to take on this role and continue accelerating NCTD's journey forward through resilient and innovative technology," said Wymer.
